- 3 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
- 1 cup frozen blackberries
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Before you begin, make sure your bananas are sliced and frozen. Place the banana slices on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper and freeze until solid (about 2-4 hours). or overnight.
In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the frozen banana slices, frozen blackberries, coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend Until Smooth.
Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender or processor as needed. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash more coconut milk. Taste and Adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if desired.
