Vegan Oat Milk

Vegan oat milk is a popular and delicious plant-based milk made from oats, water, and optional sweeteners or flavorings. It has gained popularity as a dairy milk alternative for those who follow a vegan or plant-based diet, as well as for those who are lactose intolerant or have other dietary restrictions. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the oats and place them in a blender.
  • Add 4 cups of water and blend for 30-45 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a large bowl.
  • Squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
  • Add maple syrup and vanilla extract, if desired.
  • Store the oat milk in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
