Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can of chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas in a colander and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder together until well combined.
  • Add the chickpeas to the bowl and toss them with the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
  • Spread the chickpeas out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast the chickpeas in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until crispy, stirring them once or twice during the cooking process
  • Remove the chickpeas from the oven and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the roasted chickpeas as a snack or as a topping for salads, soups, or rice bowls.
