Alternative Ways to Serve Vegan Cupcakes
These cupcakes can be served simply without frosting. But seriously, even if they are super delious, frosting goes with cupcakes like mashed potatoes goes with gravy. They are good by themselves, but always better together.
If you do make cupcakes and want to opt out of the frosting, then here are some creative ways to serve them:
- Serve with your favorite jam or preserve on top. Choose fruits that go well with lemon, such as blueberry, strawberry, or peach.
- Serve with vegan whipped cream or whipped coconut cream on top.
- Serve with vegan ice cream.
- Drizzle chocolate or carob over the top.
Additionally, the lemon frosting goes well with this recipe. If you want to try something different for the frosting try the vegan cream cheese frosting.
